This had been one of the hotly debated renewable power projects in the country. Renewable energy is a movement getting stronger by the day. We are all trying to create a healthier safer environment for future generations and us. That is the theory between the Cape Cod, Cape Wind project. The wind farm they are planning to put in the Nantucket Sound will be the first U.S. off shore wind farm. The location is perfect because of the constant wind there; and will provide three quarters of clean power to the community. However there are still many opposed to the idea, and that explains why for 10 years they have been trying to put this wind farm up and have hit road blocks the whole way.
