The Copenhagen Accord

This is the full text of the "Copenhagen Accord", the final agreement reached at the conclusion of COP 15 in December 2009. The agreement was finalized on the last day of the two week summit as world leaders gathered in Copenhagen. The accord includes a limit on global temperature rise, commitments from developed countries on emission reduction targets, and action on mitigation by developing countries by 2020. Also included are provisions for financing efforts to prevent climate change and methods for sharing technology and managing forestry.
