President Obama arrived this morning in Copenhagen, first meeting with a small group of world leaders, followed by taking the stage in the main plenary room. He wants to see a deal come out of the talks today, and said the U.S. will take action on reducing carbon emissions regardless if a world climate deal is reached. We watched the speech on monitors from the Media Centre inside the Bella Centre (which, by the way, when he WAS speaking, you could hear a pin drop), down the hall where Obama was speaking.
