"For media who want to attend the Governor of California event, please come get your ticket at the information booth outside the Media Centre," said a woman with a Danish accent over the intercom. There was a one second pause by the hundreds of journalists inside the Media Centre, followed by a mad, MAD rush to GET THOSE TICKETS. Coordinating Producer Shawn Shepard and I ran, literally, with the hundreds of other journalists to the information booth. Here's a picture of the information booth handing out the tickets -- who knew a wild pack of journalists could act like zoo animals? It was a crazy scene of shouting and shoving. After witnessing the mob scene, our VP of News Operations Hardy Spire said, "The place is starting to look like the cantina in Star Wars."
