The Danish police were out in full force today armed with tear gas outside the Bella Centre, as a group of protesters gathered to demand "climate justice". This is a snapshot of the protesters and police right before the demonstration started, as cameraman Danny Lyon and myself were heading out to interview Sir Richard Branson. Also, at least 6,000 previously permitted NGO's have been cut off from entering the Bella Centre. Many of them protested peacefully outside that they were being denied entry. U.N. and Danish authorities say there is simply no room and many protesters are denying that claim. All new accreditation has now been cut-off. So unless you are coming with a President or Head of State, it looks like you'll have to either join the protesters outside or book your flight home.
